Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Illinois Canyon, located in Starved Rock State Park, is one of dozens of beautiful canyon landscapes along the Illinois River, southwest of Chicago. A catastrophic flood near the end of our last ice age took place about 14,000 years ago, before humans occupied the area and helped create the park's signature geology and features, which are very unusual for the central plains.
Starved Rock is known for its outcrops of St. Peter Sandstone. The sandstone, typically buried, is exposed in this area due to an anticline, a convex fold in underlying strata. This creates canyons and cliffs when streams cut across the anticline.
This diverse group of galleries represents an expression of my literal and often abstracted interpretation of the world and our place in it.
