Description
This vintage railroad water tank was a common structure in the days of Steam Railroading in the United States. They were used to store water for the Steam Locomotive boilers, those boilers were refilled at regular intervals along the railway. Today such tanks are rare, the handful of these railroad remnants that survive today are found mostly in railroad museums scattered across the country. This scale plan is intended to assist model railroad builders in designing an authentic layout.
